In conversation with one of Dubai’s most influential Fitness Trainer - Ms. Zeba M

We talk to Zeba M to get some health tips and to know what keeps her fit & healthy!!

 

What was your motivation to become a fitness enthusiast?

My own health. I’ve always been an athlete since school and then post marriage for some odd reason I just became very lazy and followed unhealthy lifestyle. And then It came on my own health I was diagnosed by a condition which would put me on medicines my entire life. And I didn’t remotely want that.

 I simply started taking control of my own health and fitness. A year later and I no longer had the medical condition. The power of exercising , eating right and the balance it brings to your life is magical, I went to pursue my certifications in order to become happier and to find a meaning and hoping I could bring a difference to some life’s.

 What is the philosophy behind the venture?

The philosophy was more to educate and then the crazy idea popped into my head how about I became a personal trainer.!

 

What are your specialties?

Pre and Post natal workouts is one of my fortes, also fat loss, muscle gain & yoga with weights (blended yoga) .

  

Could you suggest some simple exercises to our readers to include in their daily workout routine?

 Here are some simple exercises you can squeeze into your workout routine

 Circuit training:

 

  • 20 high knees
  • 20 jumping jacks
  • 15 squats
  • 10 push ups
  • 15 lunges (each leg)
  • 10 push ups
  • 20 burpees
  • 20 ab crunches
  • 10 reverse crunches
  • 20 walking lunches (try to repeat the sequence 3 - 5 times)

 

Circuit training is excellent for mobility, stamina and strength. But remember to do dynamic stretches prior beginning and a good cool down post workout
